Art St. Croix presents Fall Art Classes with Greg Keller and Libby Casey Irwin

This series of events and classes coordinated by Art St. Croix, leads to IN YOUR WORDS OR THEIRS on November 3, and will conclude with the LIVING CREATIVELY Exhibit in March 2008. The exhibit will feature creative work by visual artists, writers, and performers living with disabilities. These classes are made possible by a grant from Thrivent Financial Services.

Watercolor Classes
Add some exciting color to your life! Come join our beginning and continuing watercolor classes. Judy Fawcett and Karen Lienke are experienced artists who co-teach the classes at Christ United Methodist Church, 2500 Hudson Place in Maplewood. Classes are on Monday mornings 9 a.m.-noon, and Monday evenings, 6-8:30 p.m. in 4-week sessions October through May. The church is on the frontage

Kami offers an open studio class with many critiques and lectures through out the session. This class is designed to teach anyone from beginner to very the advanced painter. Kami's inspirational lectures and demonstrations will help your painting and teach you the fundamental elements it takes to make a great painting. Gammelgarden, a Swedish immigrant museum, is celebrating its 35th year, has five log buildings from the mid-1800’s, including a church, parsonage, barn, and peasant cottage. Guided tours are available weekend afternoons May through October. The Visitor Center (Valkommen Hus) with gift shop is open daily from May through December. This season we are observing the 300th birthday of Carl von Linnaeus, the renowned Swedish botanist.
